Coccyx/Tailbone Pain

Pain involving the coccyx, or the tailbone, is often a result of Coccydynia. The pain is localized near the bottom of the spine, and may worsen when sitting or placing more pressure on that area of the body.

This issue is more common in women than in men – it’s possible to suffer from the condition following childbirth.

To treat Coccydynia, surgery is often not required. There are various methods to relieve the pain the condition causes until the issue heals naturally over time. This may include:

  • Padded Seat Cushions
  • Medication
  • Nerve Blocks
