Sadiq Sohani, MD
Board Certified in Anesthesiology & Pain Medicine
Dr. Sadiq Sohani is an accomplished physician with over 10 years of experience in the interventional treatment and diagnosis of acute and chronic pain. He is passionate about his work and has become a leader in offering preeminent pain management technology and care to his patients.
After completing his Anesthesiology Residency and Pain fellowship training at Vanderbilt University, Dr. Sohani served on the Vanderbilt faculty as an Assistant Professor of Anesthesiology & Pain Medicine for two years before beginning his practice in the Dalton and Chattanooga areas. He also completed his internship in Internal Medicine at Mount Sinai Queens Hospital in New York.
Dr. Sohani is the Medical director of CSPM and is board certified by the American Board of Anesthesiology and Pain Management. He specializes in advanced Interventional Pain management techniques to relieve chronic pain and to restore active and healthy life style for his patients.
I strive to help every patient get back to enjoying life free of pain.
Dr. Sohani continues to be a dedicated compassionate professional, treating me for a serious car accident of several years ago. He and his staff using the most up to date pain relieving methods have truly managed my pain. I am blessed to be under their care.
Ramya Rangaraj, MD
Board Certified in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation & Pain Medicine
Ramya N Rangaraj, MD, is board certified in Physical Medicine & Rehab and Pain Management. She received her medical degree from Stanley Medical College, India and training in PM&R at William Beaumont Hospital, Michigan. She then completed her Fellowship in Interventional Pain Management at Georgia Pain Physicians in 2012.
After completing her training, Dr. Rangaraj practiced as an associate physician in pain management at Georgia Pain Physicians since 2012. She joined Center for Spine and Pain Medicine in 2016.
At Center for Spine and Pain Medicine, her goals are to bring compassionate care, enthusiasm and knowledge to aid in managing pain. She believes strongly in a multidisciplinary approach, utilizing all possible treatment options for patients with acute and chronic pain conditions. Dr. Rangaraj understands that no two patients are alike, even if their cases are similar. Good patient care incorporates all aspects of a patient’s needs.
Dr.Rangaraj is married with two young children .When not at work, she enjoys cooking for and traveling with family.
Roxana Araujo, FNP-C (Roxy)
Attended Southern Adventist University where she received both her Bachelors of Science in Nursing in 2004 and her Masters of Science in Nursing in 2012. She resides in Chattanooga, TN with her husband Alex and son Gabriel. She is certified as a Family Nurse Practitioner by the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners and is an active member of the Sigma Theta Tau International Honor Society of Nursing.
Shannon is a nationally certified Physician Assistant. She attended West Virginia University for undergraduate school and earned a degree in Biology. She went on to Philadelphia University to earn her Master’s of Science in Physician Assistant Studies. Shannon has worked in Interventional Pain Management for over 7 years. She enjoys helping people restore their quality of life by setting goals and working with the patient and their families.
In her spare time she enjoys spending time with her family, traveling, shopping and living an active lifestyle.
Salima Hirjee, FNP-C
Salima is certified as a Family Nurse Practitioner by the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners. She attended Emory University where she received both her Bachelors of Science in Nursing in 2015 and her Masters of Science in Nursing in 2018. She graduated with magna cum laude and is a member of Sigma Theta Tau International Honor Society of Nursing. Her nursing background includes working at Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta, Scottish Rite. Salima is passionate about educating patients, creating long – term patient focused relationships, helping patients achieve optimal health and delivering quality care to patients to help improve quality of life. During her free time, she loves to hike, do community service and spend time with her family.
